Our Goals

​

• Maintain, improve and restore the natural habitats of land and wetlands and the plant and terrestrial zones, and animal and plat species of interest in the area.

• Improve knowledge of animals, plants and their habitats.

• Mobilise local organisations and users of the area to support Deschênes Park Alliance’s mission and seek their active involvement.

• Recognize and value the ecosystem services provided by the site in the context of a changing climate and threats to biodiversity.

• Work for sound management of activities in order to reconcile the different uses of the site.

• Establish a permanent conservation status through appropriate regulations, working with government authorities.
