The Gatineau City Council has expressed its support for this proposal to be reviewed by the Quebec government. Our proposal was subsequently deemed admissible, and the regional consultation table is currently evaluating it. The regional consultation will take place during the fall of 2025 and continuing in 2026. The results of this process will inform the Quebec government's decisions, expected in 2027, regarding the territories to be protected following this call for projects.
