Deschênes Park Alliance will map the forest and wetland habitats in order to quantify ecosystem services provided by the future park.  This requires an inventory of habitats and species.

The survey project is being undertaken over three years from 2021 to 2013: (1) during a pilot project in 2021 methodology was developed specifically for Deschênes Park habitats and tested for accuracy and ease of use (2) phase 1 of the inventory was completed in 2022 (3) phase three is planned for 2023
